After a mysterious plane crash, Stranded Deep leaves you alone in the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean with no means to call for help and nothing but your own resourcefulness to keep you alive. Hunger, thirst, and exposure all work against you as you explore both underwater and on land, scavenging supplies to craft the tools, weapons, and shelter needed to survive the elements and the ocean's more dangerous creatures.
An interactive survival watch tracks health, hunger, thirst, and sunstroke in real time, and treating injuries, from curing poison to healing broken bones and bandaging open wounds, becomes just as important as finding your next meal. Crafting spans everything from spears, axes, and bows to spearguns, built through either a detailed crafting menu or a fast quick-craft wheel, with harvesting, craftsmanship, cooking, physical conditioning, and hunting skills all leveling up independently as you play.
Building ranges from flimsy palm frond shacks up to solid clay brick houses, and customizing rafts with sails, canopies, storage, and even boat motors, or building a gyrocopter instead, opens up a fully procedurally generated world where no two islands are ever quite the same. Diving for sunken shipwrecks, tracking down abandoned shelters left by previous survivors, farming with real water management and plant growth cycles, and eventually taking on one of three bosses for a wall trophy round out a survival loop built for both solo play and online or split-screen co-op.
