Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition bundles the entire Diamond Edition of the classic Dungeons & Dragons RPG with a technical overhaul: adjustable UI scaling for 1080p and 4K, pixel shaders and post-processing for sharper visuals, a completely rebuilt multiplayer system, and toolset improvements built with input from the game's original developers and long-time community members.
The core campaign puts you at the center of intrigue, betrayal, and dark magic as you search for a cure to a plague ravaging the city of Neverwinter, whether you're playing a half-elven rogue slipping through shadows, a gnomish sorcerer wielding fearsome magic, or an armored dwarven paladin. Two full expansions extend the story further: Shadows of Undrentide sends you after four ancient artifacts tied to a long-dead magical civilization, and Hordes of the Underdark continues directly from there into the increasingly hostile depths of Undermountain.
Three premium modules, Kingmaker, ShadowGuard, and Witch's Wake, add more than 40 hours of additional stories on top of the main campaigns, and hundreds of community-made modules extend that even further. The Aurora Toolset lets players build entire custom worlds full of unique monsters, items, and encounters to share with others, while the Dungeon Master Client turns one player into a live storyteller controlling monsters and characters as the rest of the group adventures through their creation.
