Jump Space, formerly known as Jump Ship, is a mission-based co-op PvE game for up to four players, casting everyone as the crew of a single spaceship. Transitioning seamlessly from crewing the ship to on-foot exploration and full space walks means engaging in intense battles both on the ground and out in the void, always keeping the ship upgraded and intact along the way, since teamwork remains the key to both survival and outright victory.
Jumping across the universe means selecting from a variety of hand-crafted missions with random elements woven in, ensuring no two runs ever play out quite the same. Once a crew has jumped with their ship, switching between operating it, space walking, and on-foot planetary exploration happens fluidly, letting players steer their vessel out of an asteroid field one moment and jetpack toward an enemy ship to sabotage its core the next.
Managing the Jump Ship means scavenging for parts to upgrade or repair it, bolstering an arsenal of guns and components with a wide range of modifiers, and adapting the ship's setup to fit whatever mission lies ahead. There are no set classes here: crews take on roles like piloting, engineering, and field exploration organically, improvising together to overcome enemy attacks, extinguish fires on the command deck, or adjust the power grid on the fly, whether flying with a full crew of friends or braving deep space entirely solo.
