Twenty years after the events of the original Dying Light, the virus has won, and humanity is slowly dying out. Playing as Aiden Caldwell, a wandering Pilgrim who delivers goods, spreads news, and connects the last remaining survivor settlements, your real goal is finding your little sister Mia, left behind years ago to escape Dr. Waltz's torturous experiments. Word that she might still be alive in Villedor, the last standing city on Earth, forces Aiden to finally confront a past he's spent years running from.
Villedor itself is a settlement torn by conflict, demanding creative, gory combat to defeat hordes of zombies and win over potential allies. Parkour defines how you move through the city, free-running across rooftops in search of loot during daylight hours, and staying constantly wary once the sun goes down, since monsters take over the streets with every sunset and staying out too long after dark can mean never coming back.
Not every fight is winnable, and Aiden's full parkour moveset doubles as an escape plan when the odds turn bad: jumping rooftop to rooftop, swinging across the cityscape, or riding ziplines away from danger. This Reloaded Edition expands the arsenal significantly with new firearms and folds in more than 10 post-launch updates worth of content and refinements. Up to three additional players can team up to unravel the story together, take on Pilgrim Outpost challenges, or simply cause chaos across Villedor's streets and rooftops as a group.
