Death's Door casts you as a crow reaper whose entire job is harvesting souls in a mysterious, gothic world, a routine that gets disrupted the moment he discovers a soul that clearly doesn't belong. Compelled to investigate that anomaly, his search pulls him through surreal, atmospheric landscapes and up against formidable foes, eventually leading toward a much larger disturbance in the natural cycle of life and death itself.
Built by Acid Nerve and published by Devolver Digital, the game leans on tight exploration, fast-paced combat, and environmental puzzle-solving in roughly equal measure, keeping the crow reaper's journey moving forward without ever settling into a single repetitive rhythm. What starts as a simple bureaucratic anomaly, one soul out of place among the countless others he's collected without a second thought, gradually reveals itself as something far stranger and more consequential than routine soul-harvesting ever prepared him for.
